He finished his advanced orthopaedic training in Wellington, United Kingdom. Ilia completed two post-graduate clinical and research fellowships in Hand and Upper Limb Surgery in Perth, Australia at the Perth Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Clinic and in London, Ontario, Canada at the Hand and Upper Limb Centre.

Ilia lives and works in Midlands and is a fully trained Orthopaedic Surgeon and Fellow of the United Kingdom Orthopaedic Association.  Ilia has trained in Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand surgery.

Special clinical interests include:

• Arthroscopic and open management of shoulder instability and rotator cuff disease
• Shoulder and elbow disorders, including management of arthritis and stiffness
• Shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist joint replacement
• Hand and wrist disorders
• Entrapment neuropathies.
